Campground Overview

Nestled along the picturesque shores of Big Nellie Lake in northeastern Ontario, our park offers a serene natural setting surrounded by towering jack pines. Despite its tranquil wilderness feel, we're just a 10-minute drive from the town of Iroquois Falls and 30 minutes from Cochrane, home to the renowned Polar Bear Express and Habitat.

Directions

Proceed N on Hwy 11, turning R on Jacob's Hill Rd (formerly Hwy 578, Jacob's Hill Rd is approximately 7 km N of Hwy 11-67 intersection for Iroquois Falls). Proceed E on Jacob's Hill Rd approximately 100 m. As soon as you cross the tracks, turn L on Big Nellie Lake Rd and continue on the paved road for about 1.8 km to Cameron's Beach.

Our Mandate

Camping In Ontario, is a member-based Association, comprised of small businesses located throughout the Province of Ontario. Our Association was started in 1969 by a group of campground owners that wanted to improve their businesses. While the way we do things has changed over the years, our mission remains the same:

"As a vital and active stakeholder in tourism, Camping In Ontario supports member campgrounds in the Province of Ontario by educating campground owners, marketing camping in Ontario to the general public and advocating to government."
