Golden Lake Park Campground is situated in the heart of cottage country 2hrs west of Ottawa, halfway between Barry's Bay and Renfrew area. We invite you to relax and take advantage of our 4200' of scenic waterfront with picturesque boating, fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, ATVing, golfing and much more.

FROM OTTAWA
Follow Highway 417 and 17 West to Renfrew. Exit at Renfrew and pick up Highway 60 in the centre of town. Drive through the village of Golden Lake. Golden Lake Park campground is 5 miles west of the Village

FROM TORONTO
Follow Highway 7 from Tweed or Peterborough to Kaladar and then take Highway 41 to Eganville, through town and on to highway #60 west. Drive through the village of Golden Lake. Golden Lake Park campground is 5 miles west of the Village

Our Mandate

Camping In Ontario, also known as Ontario Private Campground Association (OPCA), is a member-based Association, comprised of small businesses located throughout the Province of Ontario. Our Association was started in 1969 by a group of campground owners that wanted to improve their businesses. While the way we do things has changed over the years, our mandate remains the same:

"As a vital and active stakeholder in tourism, Camping In Ontario supports member campgrounds in the Province of Ontario by educating campground owners, marketing camping in Ontario to the general public and advocating to government."
