Campground Overview

Come and stay at our quiet, secluded family campground located less than 20 minutes' drive from Kitchener-Waterloo, Stratford, Woodstock. We are located in the heart of Mennonite country. There is plenty to see and do, with special events going on in the area almost every weekend. We are a 30 minutes to the outdoor farmer's market in St Jacobs and only 15 minutes to the theaters in Stratford. The kids will love the large swimming pool and playground or fishing in our stocked pond. You can canoe or kayak on the Nith River. It is about a 1 hour trip to the dam in New Hamburg.

Directions

Hwy 401 to exit 278, Hwys 7 and 8 west. After exiting the 401 watch for signs indicating Hwys 7 and 8 toward Stratford. Follow westbound and turn right at Waterloo Regional road 1 after passing New Hamburg. We are located just 4 kms to the north.

From Stratford follow Hwy 7/8 towards Kitchener for about 15 kms, turn left at Waterloo Regional road 1.

Our Mandate

Camping In Ontario, also known as Ontario Private Campground Association (OPCA), is a member-based Association, comprised of small businesses located throughout the Province of Ontario. Our Association was started in 1969 by a group of campground owners that wanted to improve their businesses. While the way we do things has changed over the years, our mandate remains the same:

"As a vital and active stakeholder in tourism, Camping In Ontario supports member campgrounds in the Province of Ontario by educating campground owners, marketing camping in Ontario to the general public and advocating to government."
