I was there as a: Cottage/Cabin Renter, Family with children
It was one of the most relaxing vacations we have taken. The staff was great. The other guests were friendly. The facilities were super clean. We loved it. Too bad we live so far away.

Bare Oaks is the most fun you can have without taking your clothes off, oh wait, never mind. All kidding aside Bare Oaks is a great camping experience, you won't find a more friendly, accepting, no care in the world group of people anywhere. It has all the amenities you could want (besides sewer sites but they are working on that) Pool, hot tub,two saunas the lake, the friendly volleyball competition on the weekends, it's quiet in some areas and more lively in others, there is something for everyone, lots of kids around to keep each other occupied. The Bare Bistro was just taken over by a new owner/chef and is fantastic so if you don't feel like cooking or just want to grab a nice cold drink it's there. If you are a first time Naturist there is no better place to go for your first experience, 5-10 minutes and you will be so comfortable the nudity is secondary to everything else, I wish I would have done it long before I did and introduced my daughter to it when she wouldn't have cared (it's too late now) had I done that I would be able to spend more time there, right now it's very occasional unfortunately. LOTS of info on their website especially for first timers, just go and enjoy yourself!

I was there as a: Seasonal Camper, Family with children
We spent a week at Bare Oaks this past summer and fell in love with the campground, the employees and the other visitors. Our children found plenty of children to play with. There were great activities planned for all, all within a naturist-friendly environment. And I would remiss if I didn't mention the great outdoor dining space, with a great range of beer...perfect for a summer night!

Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park is the best place in Ontario to experience clothing-free living. My husband and I visited Bare Oaks 6 years ago, for a weekend of tent camping and loved it so much, that we came back every weekend for several years..even with our big dog (Great Pyrenees). Not only do they welcome families but pets are allowed. Where else can you find beautiful nature, friendly people and activities for the entire family. We now have a trailer at Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park and able to enjoy the facilities all year round.

I've been a member at Bare Oaks since 2006. I have found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The restaurant (Bare Bistro) has a wide variety of foods and will adjust things for anyone with food/health issues. The camp sites are within an easy walk to the clubhouse, pool, and hot tub. I have taken my family and they love the mini-golf and kids large play-park. I enjoy the lake, and swimming to the raft. I highly recommend this camp ground for anyone interested in the naturist lifestyle.
