Wonderful campground only a short distance nestled between Westport and Kingston. Plenty of space to wander around with the dog. Well maintained grounds, cottages and overall camping areas. We rented a small boat for the week in order to fish and were able to land approximately 12-20 per day. Lots of turtles and loons to be seen on the shores and in the water as well. Our 2 bedroom cottage was laid out perfectly. The staff and seasonal campers are super friendly and love to chat and give pointers on things to do and places to fish on the lake. The water is clear and very deep in some areas. The beach area is nice, better to enter and 3xit from the dock rather than walk in if you’re not wearing water shoes. Lack of mosquitoes made for a pleasant time around the fire and enjoying the outdoors anytime of day. Definitely recommend this campground and hope to return soon.
